A childlike fascination with mobiles and umbrella's lead to the formation of nuova forma. The pieces produced in this line are inspired and based upon mid century shapes and design. Much inspiration is drawn from the master for kinetic sculpture, Alexander Calder, each piece moves on its own, and there are no 'rings' involved. The pieces are cut, sanded and put together one at a time, and each piece is literally one of a kind.
Much inspiration is also drawn from mid century masters such as Art Smith, Betty Cooke, Ed Levin, and Pal Kepenyes to name a few. Much can be learned from those who come before us.

Storage of your jewelry
To prevent tarnishing, store clean, dry jewelry in a dry, airtight container like a Ziploc bag. Keep all of your pieces separate from one another to prevent scratching. We suggest the Ziploc. For chains and necklaces, you can leave just the clasp outside of the bag, this will help keep the chains from tangling.
Don't leave silver jewelry in the bathroom, car, or kitchen. The humidity can speed up the oxidation process that produces tarnish.
We use the rule of 'jewelry is the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off.' Contact with chemicals such as hairspray, body lotion, and cleaning products is jewelries biggest enemy. After taking it off, clean it with a dry, soft cloth before putting it back into an airtight container.

Cleaning your jewelry
The BEST way to keep sterling and bronze jewelry from tarnishing is to wear and enjoy it! Your skin and clothing will constantly be polishing the piece.
To clean, use a jewelry polishing cloth.
If your silver jewelry needs a little more attention, immerse it in warm water with a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid and gently hand wash. A soft toothbrush can be used for more abrasive cleaning when needed. Rinse and completely dry the silver before storing, trapped moisture can contribute to tarnishing. Never clean your jewelry in bleach or chemicals, this can seriously harm your metal jewelry.
If the jewelry contains gemstones or pearls, do not submerge the entire piece into water. Instead, use a cotton swab with mild dishwashing liquid to wash only the silver.
